Default Extreme flight vs. 3d Hobby Shop

I've been looking for a plane for quite some time and am choosing between the 88.5in EF extra and the 87in 3DHS extra shp. I've heard both of them are two of the best on the market and can't decide.
Any suggestions?

Either way, you'll be dealing with a quality company that backs up their products with good service. And, you'll find a lot of satisfied pilots of both aircraft here on FG....so you can't really go wrong.

Ya gotta love it...guy posts a this-vs-that plane question and the first two replies are the respective company owners giving kudos to each other's planes!!!!

I haven't owned one of Chris' machines yet, but wouldn't hesitate if I was in the market for one.

Which ever plane you decide to purchase you will be very satisfied. I have not had the pleasure of owning a plane from EF yet. I do have one of the 3DHS Extra 300 SHP and love it.

You can see that both Ben and Chris are class acts. Not only are they both great people that have my respect, but they both are very great supporters of the FlyingGiants and the hobby in general. The industry needs more companies like these two.

I agree! I haven't owned a plane from 3DH yet, but I've heard a lot of good about them, and Ben is a great guy. I have had quite a bit of experience with Extreme Flight, and I can't say enough about them! I've had there 47" Yak 54, 58" Extra 300, and now I am working on my new 50cc Extra 300! I've also flown there 45" Extra 300. All I can say is that They are all awesome! Chris is a great guy too, and is always happy to help!

Ya' can't go wrong with either. The 2 biggest reasons that I've been going with Extreme Flight are the precision flight charecteristics of there planes, and also the fact that they keep the scale look in all there planes!
I would, however, like to get a 51" Slick eventualy! They're all awesome!
Too many awesome planes, too little $$$.

I don't own the 80"ers but I do own both an EF Edge(45") and a 3DHS SHP(47"). They are both outstanding ARF's. As far as flying they are both a blast to fly. I have practiced 3D with both and I have yet to break either even after hitting the ground(not suggestion you do it though). I have also talked to both Chris and Ben on the phone and they know their business and willing to help. Wish they did some Northeast shows so I could meet them(hint). As you saw by their posts they are stand up guys. You can't go wrong with either plane or company.

Own both, and both company's are on the same plane as far as quality and customer service!! Man that's a hard choice. I know I will buy from both again in the near future. You'll will be very happy in either direction.
