http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=HAN1225 85cc Hangar-9 Sukhoi. Top notch plane.
http://wildharerc.com/products/Edge540_1025/ 85cc single or 100cc twin Edge 540 from Wild Hare. Very nice plane. For some engine links: http://www.aircraftinternational.com/cbm.aspx the 3w 85xi is the engine for either of those planes above. http://www.desertaircraft.com/engine...php?Page=DA-85 Desert Aircraft DA-85 http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=EVOE80GX Evolution 80 is a very nice engine http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/items...R80ENGINE.html ZDZ engines are fabulous I think that will definately get you started. I am a 3w guy, but the DAs and the Evolutions are both very nice engines as well. Once you get in the door, then we can start talking about servos. (7955TG from Hitec all around if you ask me )

If price is not an issue then i reccomend 100cc. And if you like the edge 540, then PAU is a good choice. Their 36% edge 540 is a wicked plane and its really easy flying. They also make a 50cc edge 540 which flys amazing as well.

Go 80cc, stick a zdz 80 RVJ in single wing servos and away you go, 100cc is way more money just compare 80,85cc- to a 100cc. AW does some nice planes this size well built will last a long time if you dont bury it!
And fly with someone else till you get used to that bigger bird approaching for landings and maybe to calm those initial nerves. Mark |

Well my first giant is still my current champ flyer. The Great Planes Extra 300S flies just like a sport plane powered by nitro. Here is my setup:
Engine: BME50 (but use a DL50) Prop: I use a 23x8 or 22x8 (Depends what prop I have with me) Servos: JR 8611's, DS821 on throttle Fuel Tank: 25oz Dubro Reciver: AR700 Flying weight wet:16.8lbs.
