Default FACUC RS232 cables. . .

I've been at this for a couple days now between other jobs I'm running.

I've got to get some cables whipped up so I can talk to my lathes. I'm running out of storage space. I got the HAAS working, but the lathes have FANUC controls.

Anyone know the pin orientation for 25 pin to 25 pin? I know I reverse send/receive on one end, but there's some jumpers too isn't there?

Thanks!

Chad

I have a 0T Fanuc and am using the same cable as on a Fadal 6030VMC (HS88 control I think). Both machines needed the reversed send recieve from null. I think the jumpers on the CNC side should be to ground and don't need physically wired.

I do have to use a gender changer between the two machines but it doesn't make difference.

The 0T control always gave me communication fits until I started using plain old hyperterminal.

Good luck

Use cable with following connections

Note: When shielded cables are used, pin #1 at CNC needs to be connected to the not-insulated wire of the cable (shield). Do NOT connect pin #1 at computer side.
