I have a 35% edge with foam cores. Whats the best way to lighten them after there built?

Spline sand the surface, then layout an open bay pattern leaving around 1.5" ribs aft of the spar and cut out your bays.

Can this be done with the sheeting on? I've only seen that done with the foam only... Sorry for all the questions just don't want to ruin a good flying bird

Well I’ve been doing this hobby for 10 years and I find it just best to leave the wings alone. Take the weight off in other places. I’ve had some wings fail because I’ve tried to make them lighter. It’s just my 2 cents. Hate to see a nice plane go.
