Looks like you chopped down a big tree and whittled away everything that didn't look like a Stik! Looks big and like you did a nice job. What motor?

Very cool......my first plane was an Ultra stick .60 with a Saito 100. This would be a cool tow plane for the right group of people.

That is very cool. Are you covering it in the typical red and white?

Hello,
I am interested in building my first Monster Stick and had some questions for you. The folks at AMR are telling me that I should buy a DLE 222cc engine if I want to do some 3D stunts with the plane. what are your thoughts on that? My thought is that they are just trying to make commission on a DLE engine. I want to put a DA-170 on the plane but want power to do 3D stunts.
Your thoughts?

Default Monster Stick 150

So sorry that someone can think that, I think they offer you the best deal around, you can use DA170c, DLE170cc, ZDZ 180cc, ZDZ 210cc, 3W 150 and up, DA 150 and up, their combo prices , you get the engine at very low prices, 3D with Monster Stick you need a lot of torque, go with 200cc and up. I can assure you they are not trying to crook anyone, telling this on a forum it is not very wise, they are working very hard to manufacture those kit to be assembled, ask around how customers feel about the technical service, after sale service. Please take a look at other building thread.....they offer great combo prices .

This company is managed by a 55 years old man who use to build, from drawing and draw is own plan since many years, he began with at 8 with free flight later control line, this venture was a dream who come true in his life.

He put his heart in this project with old friends, they have two job, working 7 days a week, late in night to offer great kit, easy to assembled. Why because they still beleive that somewere poeple like them still like to build rc kit. They receive and refuse many offers to slide those kits as arf !!

They are not doing this venture for money, but for the pleasure to offer kits, I saw their new project coming, the boss is working all night and week end to build the new prototype.

They are honnest people, who beleive in their dream.

Peter
