I could'nt bare to see it tossed away...
Also there is an old 1/3 scale laser that has some history behind it as well in a buddies attic that I will be getting this summer, it needs some work on the firewall from a deadstick many years ago. I will fix it and fly that one one day.
Yeah I might know that guy that gave you that spacewalker he is a cool dude lol. I get to fly it if and when it gets done that is the rule of you getting it and yes Bill Frye did a very nice job of building it and he is a awsome guy as well. Bob has taken a lot of his time to help us all to understand his madness to the myth of planes flying better with out all the extra weight and making them safe as well. I know there is a lot of diffrent thought about lightened planes but that also depends on what you like. But I know from what I have seen weight is not always a good thing but I guess it depends on what you fly just my thoughts.

Sweet guys....This was my only intention, to help get the info out there, and to really see/show just how many of you are actually conscious of the problems of heavier planes and the steps you take to make this hobby more enjoyable and rewarding. Looks to be a hit..thanks Bob.

Johnathan is a joy to watch as most of the young guns. Seeing the future of this hobby is in there hands its great to see parents like Donnie and Lou who share the hobby with their children.
My daughter I hope will return one day, I bet when she does it will be with my grandkids.

My Carden 126 300 came in pretty good, it was not a 300 on a diet or anything, much more can be done but here is the link to the build: http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/f...ld-thread.html 37 lbs 11.5 ounces with DA-170 and RE-3
I sort of do a cross between maintenance free and lite in my builds.
Some of these super lite planes are very impressive! Like to see them fly sometime. Thanks for the thread.

Now Mike let's see what you do with the space walker I know it was heavy let's see how light it can get and see how it flys afterwards I remember it was heavy on the sticks before.
