HAHA ROFL!!!!

That MVVS Motor is a little heavy, but it's a rocket machine.

Its great to see the wings bend in flat out KE circuits, thats an experience you just wont get unless your plane is stupidly overpowered or a bit floppy!

The way I looked at it was that if I don't like the 85 in this airframe....what's the worst that can happen?! I'll have an awesome motor and pipe to put in another airframe....maybe a 100cc EF Extra . DA-100L on pipes and smoke coming soon on the 110" Yak.

Tell ya what Parker. I'll get the 110 Yak and put a DA 100L on it and you put the 85 in another 110... Let's see what happens.

Yep Plane will be flying next week once the pipe gets here probably Monday. I'm going to get the mounts ready to accept the pipe so that all that will need to be done is relocate the batteries and install the pipe.

I've already flown this plane on a 12S Electic setup, but I am almost 100% this setup power-to-weight ratio will = FUN!! ....oh and no more recharging...just fuel and go!

All I can say is DANG THAT RE3 IS BIG! It's a tight fit, but with some coaxing and a little dremel work the pipe fits! I was also a little scared about the pipe being too long for the tunnel, but no worries...it fits with about 1/2" to spare.

I was just test fitting the pipe and the header 25mm drop flex from DA it fits wonderfully. And the 3-blade.....WHAT A BEAUTY! It actually looks like it should go on the airframe unlike some 22" props I've seen on these Yaks. Can't wait to get the rest of the install going. It may be next week before the test flight though since there is so much work to be done like installing the pipe mounts, throttle/choke servos, and also cutting out the motor mount.

Going to order a 4.5" spinner for it next week too to finish it off.

I would also put a couple of dubro cowl mounts to help support it. I have already have a block break lose with my DA-50. It took 2 years to break, so i'm not complaining. I have a DA-85 on H9 suk and the power, well you'l see the power when the motor box comes lose from the fuse. Diffently row vid its gona be good.
And Chris I'm about ready for a 110" to match my 88"!
