WOW! This is what I picture the 110" with the BME 150 is going to be like. I bet you are happy.... Looks to me like you need a little expo in the ailerons, and get a few mixes in place and this should be one of the most fun airplanes on the planet. CONGRATS

Okay, picture me hanging out at the field with you, beer in hand, and discussing the flight I just saw and I say this
"It seems to do alright, but wouldn't you think a larger plane with the same engine would be better? I mean, you can build a lot of 100cc planes light enough for the 85 and have the advantage of a larger plane that floats better and overall flies better(given the whole 'larger is better' proven theory).
I had a 96" Aeroworks Extra at under 21 pounds that was AWESOME with this engine, and just about the perfect thrust-to-weight."
I'm not knocking your idea or being a nay-sayer, just pointing out some of the shortcomings of a RIDICULOUSLY overpowered plane - if it is that overpowered it just means that you could have bolted a larger plane to that engine.
I guess if you love EF planes, you gotta be hoping they come out with an 85cc version of this Yak and their Extra - that would be awesome!

that was impressive. Also liked the nuclear power plant in the background. Was expecting Homer Simpson to walk out on the field.

Well one thing for sure you'r not going to use much gas on this one. Take you forever to get it broke in. Beat you did'nt use 1/4 tank in the vid. Yea I can see it know, full throttle pull out and the motor box is the only thing attached. Great job, looks like a real blast to fly. Now go find a stump to pull out and take the camera. One more thing, remember I said you'r going to need more cowl mounts. One in the middle on top, just an observation! Go get'em thumper. There's you a name for the yak. THUMPER!

Parker, great videos! I can't wait to see this thing in person. The power looks like my 2M pattern plane with the YS 170 CDI, and only 10.5 lbs.

Bodywerks,
I'd like to have that discussion with you over a few beers but not at sea level. Let's have it at 7000'. Knowing you loose about 3% of power per 1000', how would the conversation go?
I'm thinking the 85 cc is now a 67 cc. Yeah I could go to a bigger plane for better wing loading but the thrust to weight would suffer..............wing loading could still be around 29 oz/sqft. If I went with a aeroworks 75cc extra and the da 85 wing loading is similar, but the Yak would have better thrust to weight...
