.

Do you own an ACE/TT plane? There were some issues with 37.5 & 40% yaks cowls and canopys for a short time, but it was the Manufact. doings not Ace Hobby's. The way I recall it, Ace did everything in there power to give customers what they needed without making the parts themselves. They cant very well send you a part they dont have in stock.

PAU customer service and spare parts are top notch and the planes fly great.

Your looking at it from the negative side! Follow what Mike said. I will give you another way to look at TT Toc aircraft. Here it is: The TT TOC aircraft are such good flying and amazingly good looking designs that every company is probably jealous. Therefore, it has been bought and sold many times because people think that it is such a good product. And all i can say is that IT IS! I OWN A TT TOC airplane and i am PROUD! of it! So if you don't like them just go with another company. There will always be another newbie or hobbyist that will find the TT TOC aircraft that matches them. Therefore they will buy it! So don't take me wrong i am not trying to bash at you. I am just simply saying. Don't look at a company being sold manytimes as a bad thing. Hope this doesn't stir up too much attention. Take Care!

Your take on that is extremely polyannist. Most investors shy away from companies that change hands often. If it's that good, why sell? I'm not necessarily talking about TT TOC Aircraft, just business in general. I've heard nothing but good about the planes. Heck, I almost picked one up myself. "They cant very well send you a part they don't have in stock." Always remember, words mean things. It wasn't a secret that parts were hard to come by for whatever reason. That may not be the case now, but the TOC line will have that stigma attached to their name for a while. Then it will go away and life goes on. The guys here that can bring them in are good guys. Lastly, one of the reasons I didn't buy a TOC is because I hate building. Absolutely hate it. The Pilot makes it bearable. Oh, also my own scheme.

This would be a hard one to pass on if you got the $$$. I am a 260 fan myself and oddly enough I like the SD/TOC/Pilot style of 260 best ARF and the Dalton for the kit built. WIsh I could trot out and buy one of the TOC's from Chief while they are so cheap.

If the differances in cost is no issue an earlier post said it best, buy the one you like the looks of the most. Pretty much all the popular planes fly better than most of us can, certainly me !

You will not see the SD, TT, TOC planes change hands again. Ace Hobbies is not a fly-bye nite outfit, and they will continue to provide outstanding workmanship, and lite planes. True that Ace offered the TOC planes last year and did have some teething problems early on, but the truth is a few, less than 5 cry babies, ran the name into the ground, which hurt Ace hobbies somewhat. And Pilot Rc introduced a very similar product at that time with excellant marketing techniques. I believe that the guy who now sells Pilot RC aircraft did previously work for TOC, and there are just enough differance between the two designs to make them , not copies. My guess is that Tony at Pilot designed both planes???? There was some internal restructuring at the plant in China for TOC planes. Customer service is outstanding at Pilot, and improving at ACE Hobbies. The TOC PLANE is in my opinion the best built ARF avaible for the money. While Pilots marketing Custom color schemes and pre installed rudder cabeles. Now if either company would include the hardware that PAU supplies, and the over the top best there ever is/ was , customer service, agian PAU, then sells would increase. AND the cry babies well they find something else to B-I- itch about. <RUTNBUC>
