Default Maidened my Hornet this weekend

It's a Jet Legend F-18C with a JetCat Titan SE. It flew flawlessly and the landing was very scale. I was a ball of nerves the first 30 seconds of the flight, but got my cool back after my trim pass.

Was this your first time with a jet? I really want to get into turbines but don't know what to buy as a first time jet?? I think I would be able to handle one, it's just the fear/pucker/$$$ factor that gets my nerves racing..... By the way, GREAT looking HORNET!!!

I am wanting to take the turbine leap to but yikes its scary. Congrats on the maiden, the F-18 is my favorite jet by far. Maybe not the best way to start into turbines though.

This is definitely NOT the plane you want to start with. The Hornet is heavy, draggy, and if you get behind on the power it is a brick.

This is my third jet. I started with a Tam Jet F-16 and I have been flying a Comp-ARF Flash for a year with almost 200 flights on it.

Hope it was not a carrier landing. I got to get my Euro going this summer. Skymaster keeps the quality up and the prices pretty good. Guess that why BVM linked up with them. Their Big 16 all loaded up keeps calling my name.
