Chris, The SM 1/6 F-16 is my dream jet. It's so freaking big!
Greg, thanks! Are you still flying at SCCMAS after work? |

Hey Dantley, I've not been to SCCMAS for some time. Unfortunately, I am dealing with a terminal illness in my family and I've needed to put the planes on the backburner for the last 6 weeks. My Yak has been ready to maiden for quite some time now so hopefully I will be able to get back to RC this summer in full force. I'll let you know.
Greg

It looks just like the full scale one sitting on the ramp outside my office.

Greg, sorry to hear about the illness in your family. I'm looking forward to flying with you this summer!
Japan3D, that makes sense given the full scale plane is stationed in Japan. Have any pics?

Hey Dantley!
Nice looking jet, I'm jealous! I just maidened my F/A-18C Hornet a couple of weeks ago. OK, it's made of foam (flying beer cooler), is an EDF so it's slow, no comparison to yours. Still it is fun to fly, and looks cool with retracts and all. But hey, my jet does rolling circles, does yours? LOL! |

The one Shulman flies is a kit from damn slipped my mind. Its about 4 times the cost, 50 times the work and a thing of true beauty not that the SM 16 is a slouch. The SM is something you can take out and fly as a weekend plane. Shulmans is a contest bird.

One of these years I'll finish up my 1/8 F-16. I did finally order the remainder of parts I need but I have no time to do anything with those parts.

The plane: http://www.bananahobby.com/1754.html The Airframe only, includes EDF but you won't use it in 6S setup, and includes retracts: http://www.bananahobby.com/1799.html |
