Mine made it thru both of the T-28's overcasts. I thought the one on Wednesday was hairy but when the 73 went up on Thursday that was something else. Someone needs to get the list from Horizon of the Pilots that were involved and come up with some kind of Tee-Shirt that reads I survived the Joe Nall T-28 overcast.

My T28 made it through. I was one of the last 15 in the air . My battery was going and the hard part was finding clear place to land . I made it in one peace , small damage to top of wing and bottom from close encounter. Just a bit bouncy with the wing to wing air encounter. Thanks for the great time. Regards James

Well, Mine didnt make but about 45 seconds in to the flight, I lost all control, as well as several of us on DSM 2, I should have got the farthest into the woods award, allthough after we went looking for them they asked not to go across the property line, oh well the other 10 of us found our plane, after a few minutes of epoxy and a new canopy she flies just fine, had a blast , thanks to all who got it together.

I bought my T-28 and DSM receiver Wednesday morning from Hobby Lobby and flew in the practice "flock" Wednesday evening. I thought 30 something was interesting! The Thursday "flock" was a blast! I went up in the vendor area and found 2 unused survey flags. Yes, I cheated. I cut the wire short and shoved one in each wingtip. Made it a little easier to see mine in the "flock", but it was still a challenge.
Thanks Robert for organizing this, Bobby Poston
