What is the minimum beer intake before the T-28 shenanigans?
Any Boat Races this year?

Robert, You know I'm in! Just keep Larry's plane away from mine you know what happens when we get in the air at the same time.

Gonna have the Team BVM crew ready tear up the Skies with ours. Don't even talk about mid-airs with us around.

That sounds like a plan to me. Let's not tear anything up that we need to fly on Thursday, though.

Trust me, Tony, you'll be "high" on adrenaline when you fly with 30-40 other T-28's.....

All you have to do is watch out for the orange & white one with Navy markings, and "E", and the number "365" on the vertical tail. That's Larry's plane.....

Guys,

For those of you who will need to pick up a T-28 in the vendor area at Joe Nall, here's an option.

I spoke with Matt Anderson of Anderson RC, who will have a booth in the vendor area. He said that he'll have at least three of them for "first-come first-served" sales and will bring others especially for you if you contact them at 336-476-6917 or via e-mail at andersonrc@live.com this week. They will be placing their "Joe Nall" order on Monday so you'll need to speak with them before then if you want one.

Ok guys, I have just finished talking with Joe Nall event CD, Mike Gregory, about our T-28 plans and verified the timing etc. First, he was all for it and said things like "that will be great!". Second, we discussed the official policies for the event. The flight lines will remain open until 7:00 pm each evening (except Thursday as noted below) so we'll have to push our time back to then to fly non-IMAA aircraft. And for insurance purposes, anyone flying anything on the Triple Tree grounds must be a registered pilot. So there you have it. It's now official!

Official Parkzone T-28 Mass Launch
"Operation Trojan Overcast"

"Wave #1" - Wednesday, May 13, 7:00 pm
on the main flight line

"Main Invasion" - Thursday, May 14, 6:00 pm
on the main flight line
(this time is corrected as shown due to AMA meeting @ 7:00)

Let's gather about an hour ahead of time to put our aircraft in a group near the gazebo and pose for pictures, etc. We'll also have a quick and informal "pilot's meeting" at that time. Then, at our assigned time, we'll commence "Operation Trojan Overcast".

This is going to be very frequency dependant since there will certainly be flying activity at each of the other three sites that will be using some of the available 2.4 ghz freqs. But, I think that the main runway is the only one allowing 72 mhz, which should add to the numbers a bit if yours in on that band. Please plan accordingly. We'll try to get as many in the air at one time as we can!

Robert, After the T-28 Maylay why don't we have a good old full blown Foamy fight like we have at Nelsons. I think I have a battle bot left in the hanger.

Now Hold On There A Minute Big Boy!!!
I'm still flying the first one I bought! Well,,,,,,,actually my wife has that one now. BUT ITS STILL FLYING!!!! LOL
Amazingly enough, my new one only received minor damage in that 'Tree D " encouinter! The more you scratch'em, the better they fly!

Thursday sounds great Robert. J'Quique really wants to be a part of this one. I told her we'd be doing it on Friday and she could participate! That comment went over like a turd in a punch bowl! LOL She'll probably do Wednesday AND Thursday. This is gonna be fun.
Hmmmm,,,maybe we better stop off at the local mini mart and buy a styrofoam cooler for repair material!
