Great news! Just talked to Mike and the time slot has been moved up to 6:00 so we will be able to get the flight in before everbody wants to leave for dinner.

Yep, I have been informed this evening that our Thursday time slot has been moved to 6:00 pm instead of 7:00 pm because the AMA meeting will start at 7:00 pm and they will halt all flying for that. I'll correct this time on the previous post.

Sorry guys...
No problem. I only mentioned it since someone might show up with just a transmitter, ready to "Bind-n-Fly".

I wish i could be there for this. We have a lot of the T-28s at our field, and formation flying just seems to naturally happen. Mine has plenty of bite marks from other T-28 props. Why do I always have to be the "inverted" guy....

Robert what you should do and would be a good idea is try and break the World Record that was set at SEFF last year. The right phone calls could probably get a new World Record at Guiness.

This is actually a great idea! I've put a poll up that should quantify who is committed, what frequency band they will be on, and just what we are going to be faced with , logistically. Please be sure to submit your answer only if you are acutally going to do it. We need an accurate tally.

I think the idea of getting 100 T-28's in the air at once will be very tough to do, but nothing is impossible if we all plan carefully. Besides, this is Joe Nall, man!

I also think that getting Guiness involved might be on too short notice and also put undue pressure on everyone to get to 100. This "may" take the fun out of it, which is my ultimate goal.
