Default Air And Space Smithsonian at Dulles

This past week, I had to travel to the DC area to visit with clients. Usually, I meet everyone downtown and am able to sometimes steel a couple of hours to go sightseeing. For this trip, I had to meet a cleint in Maryland. On my way back to Reagan to return the rental car, I got "lost" and ended up at the Edvar-Hazy center at Dulles. I have been to the Air and Space Smithsonian on the mall several times, but have never had the chance to see the new one.

It is INCREDIBLE!!! My camera SUCKS, but I thought I would share some of the photos from my trip. There are a couple from the one on the Mall, but most are from Dulles.

If you ever get a chance, I HIGHLY recomend a trip!

I thought it was pretty cool that they surrounded the 707 with aerobatic planes. I am sure many of you recognized it as the prototype which did a slow roll during a demonstration.

I'm not sure if you know it or not but there is one of the best hobby shops on the east coast about a mile from there. It's called Hobby Hangar and they usually have a few DA's in stock and all sizes of giants scale props.

They aded a bunch of planes since I was last there. Good job on the pics. Hobby Hangar is worth the trip too, there are people I know here in Va. that drive there twice a week just to go to the hobby store. Oh, I forgot to mention, they drive 3 hours each way atleast twice a week to go to the hobby store.
