New to this Yankee ( Careful now ! ) are words like Dude, Huckin, Dude, Hey Dude, Superflyjay's salami , Ya'll , Hey man that's sick! etc etc.

What other "new slang words" are out there that I may have missed.

As far as BIFF has explained, if you say "YA'll" you be known as a fraud.

(And I'm a Yanky as well so i'm just forwarding the advice)

He said its pronounced "Yawww" and draw out the "wwww" No "L"'s to be found anywhere.

Some other key words you will need to have well polished up.

Mate!!!. Refers to the guy your talking too when you cant remember his name. That becomes an issue after the sun goes down normally.

No dramas; refers to you having a cool day with no community service or serious incidents that have peeved you off.

Banks, get me a beer; what you say to your Pit bitch when your thirsty.

Como estas amigo; you need to speak Spanish with Banks after lights out, even more so if he found the captain.

There are others but they are not PG13 so we will save them for the show.

For many a year the Yankee has come south (Myself included) hoping to breed out the redneck (except West Virginia, honestly who grows up and says I want to move to West Virginia.) but let me tell you their ways are infectious. Never a NASCAR fan until I moved down south now my weekends are not complete without. Collard Greens and Gritz are their crack, they get you hooked and you instantly forget where you came from and you begin adapt this new culture. Before long there are 4-5 broken down cars in the yard and a gun rack in your new big ass truck. Is swear if the South invaded the North again people would be a lot happier.
