Default Need advice on Edge 540 project

Hi all, I decided to join flying giants after hearing and seeing a lot about it. I have previously been on rcgroups. I decided I would come here for my first big plane. Here it is, when I went to the northwest hobby expo, I picked up a hanger9 78" Edge 540 for $155. Its in great condition too.

I have been in the scene of flying rc planes for about a year now, and I feel like I'm ready for a bigger plane. I am by no means an expert, and that's why I need help. I'm 16 and don't have a lot of money, but want to finish this plane. I want any suggestions and ideas for what I should load the plane with.

Here are my current ideas.

ENGINE
I was looking at getting a nice used one, but I would rather stick to a brand new one that I know will work, last, and have no problems. Im thinking of the TYG45 or the overbored TYG52 from hobbycity. I know its a cheap chinese engine, bit I spent hours of research, and it sounds to me like its a fine engine for the price. If you guys convince me into getting a better engine, I was looking at the SPE-43 http://www.cermark.com/products/SPE%...AS-ENGINE.html as it seems to be reliable and powerful. I will not go glow, I simply cannot afford to pay over $25 a gallon of fuel thats burned at over twice the rate of gas engines. I just want to be able to go to the field and fly all day with a cheap gallons of gas.

SERVOS
I was looking at servos that were reccomended in the manual, and what others were using, and I have come to this. These HD Servos off hobbycity http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s.../10.5kg/.19sec are excellent for the price. They are great according to reviews, digital, and have metal gearing. I will eventually get metal servo arms. What would be a good place for that anyways?

RADIO
I currently have a Hitec Eclipse 7 that I will use. After this plane is built, my next priority is to get a 2.4ghz radio. I dont know for sure if I want to do this though, because the receivers are quite expensive. I would hate to lose my plane because I got hit on my channel though. Thats something to think about later.

BATTERIES
I plan on using a Lipo for the receiver with a voltage regulator if needed. Im not sure what I should get in terms of mah, but im sure someone here could help with that. The engine will also need a battery, in this case lipo also. I will probably need a vreg here too.

Other things I will need are things like a fuel tank, fuel line, all that junk. There is one think I am worried about though. After some research it seem like most people are using glow engines for this plane. It was made for glow in the first place. Their planes are quite light, they seem to reccomend keeping this plane in particular fairly light too. Would a 1500g engine be fine for this plane?

Anything else I might have missed, please comment all you want. I just want to get things straightened out as far as my purchases, I have been saving, and I plane on starting to buy parts for my plane.
