Default Broken dual rate switch on JR 662

The dual rate switch broke on my jr 662 transmitter and it is old and is not under warranty. I could send it back to be repaired but then I would be without my remote for too long. I was wondering if anyone knows of a switch that I could get a radioshack or the hardware store that I could use. I am sure I could make the necessary modifications as far as getting the part to fit on the remote and such but I know nothing about electronics. Any ideas would be great. Also, jr will not send me that part.

You'll have to send it in to JR. I don't know of an aftermarket sw for it. SHouldn't be without it for too long. Maybe 10-12 days????

Yeah - just send it in to Horizon - I sent my 10SX in when my kid knocked my 10SX off the work bench and broke my triple rate DR swx. It cost about 25 bucks. If it has any time on it have them freq check your reciever as well. They will recondition servos (8611/8411's I know for sure)if they are in warranty for free also. They have done me well in the past.

Just pick up a switch from radio shack and solder the wires on to it, and it will mount the sameway, $2 fix extremely easy to do.
