I would take 4 burgers and 2 hot dogs if you send them to me. What happened to you guys coming to MS ? I was planning on going.

I have no ride now so I'm off to TMS for the race weekend.

I wished they would change the party to next weekend....

Well, a long story in a short reply. Everyone bailed.... schedule, time, money. Not that we didn't want to go, but as a group it just wasn't going to work. Hopeful we can get it together for next year. I need your address for your hot dog delivery. js

Hey Jed sign me up for one of those burgers saturday or maybe two, hmm !! I was thinking if sammy is only 16 maybe he will learn to fly a plane when he grows up huh . Oh and BTW I turn 39 on the 11th

Say, I need some help with radio setup. I am wanting to setup an optical kill switch. Radio is a Futaba 12FGA and receiver is 6014FS sitting on a SmartFly power sport plus. Would like the switch to be SH for the radio and on channel 8 on the receiver. The next step would be a condition that the throttle be in the idle position before the switch would be active. A step by step how to would be nice. Thanks!

Well, on the optic kill switch, the most common way is use the gear switch. my optic manual

says do it that way. if your servo ever failed in an poen position you would never be able to

activate the optic switch. I have used my optic switch one time in the air. all other times just to kill

the engine after flight. the main reason to have one is if your servo ever fails mostly in the

wide open position. this is the way mine has been set up since I have a manual choke. it works

very well like this. just my 2 cents worth.

Thats the way I installed it, but thought about needing the condition of the throttle position, like the engine kill I have setup now on the servo. The switch will only activate in idle. There has to be a way to assign a switch to a channel..More searching needed..eheheh..

Ill be there friday afternoon. Only able to get my little funtana up there but sammy was nice enough to let me fly his funtana x50 when i get there.
