Default 800cc radial from TBM

TBM just got this 800cc radial and it looks awesome (first 2 pics)! I can't think of a plane to put it into though.

There is also a 420cc radial- http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/items/VAL420R.html

Tell Bill hempel to build an 80% yak55, then i think Snap would buy this, because he would be tempted to buy the beast! Sorry for revealing your inner feelings about BIG airplanes Snap. don't worry if you get an 80% then you can give me the 50% edge. LOL. Just kidding. Though seriously, who needs one of these.? hope all is well. take care

I dont think Snap would buy it. He'd burn it up the first time he tried to hover it. They dont like heat.

I think Snap should buy it and put it on the mantel next to his DA-200.

Guys the 420 will work as it's the same weight as the 342 and it may have more power, I couldn't open the spec document but can I hover it? Otherwise I have to get me a warbird and Joe is right first it will go on the Mantel

That little birdy might be right (unsure), and some warbirds may be in the making.

If I hit the lottery I could picture 4 x 800's in a "really Giant" B-17...........imagine the sight and sounds from that baby!

We'd definitely give those French guys at Le Ferte a run for their money.
