ALRIGHT!!!!!! it's been a long time in the making but we finally got'r'dun! Paul, Ken and I have been flying together for a couple decades and have spent most all of our spare time around this hobby! this venture allows us to do what we love and have some great fun along the way!

we wanted to release this exciting news prior to the nall so we could talk to as many of you FG'ers as possible out there and spread the word on these great airframes. we are tooling up to be able to produce, deliver and stand behind our kits and will be ready for business by early summer. we will not allow ourselves to enter the market place without being 110% ready to do the business that these planes deserve! we are currently finishing up some vendor agreements and creating new and easier construction tutorials.

please realize that we are treating this as a start up type company. we are dealing with the same great airframes, with the lightening improvements that have been requested and a more inclusive kit package, but we are completely starting over when it comes to our customer service and support models. as i said in the release article, we will give our customers no reason to tell anything other than success stories!!!!! this isn't just rhetoric guys... my partners and i will NOT put ourselves in a position to be anything other than respected in this industry and we vow to have a fun time along the way!

i would like to extend a personal thank you to Mr. Robert Joyner of Competition Airframes. rob has been working on this deal with/for us for almost a year now and we wouldn't be in the position we are in if we didn't have rob's help. he will prove to be a tremendous asset to anyone with airframe construction/set up questions. please feel free to shake rob's hand at the nall as well. you cannot meet a better ambassador of this hobby and a truer gentleman than Mr. Joyner! THANKS ROBERTO!!!!!!!!

thanks to all of the rest of you guys as well for your positive comments. i can assure you the accolades will prove to have been deserved! we really appreciate the clean slate that you have given us and will protect that with our lives!!!

well, i'll close with this.... all of you that know me know that i go to every FG show i can possilby get to. i've been to every HF (other than snap's darn-it) for the last 2 years and i am not scared of running across the country to spend time with my fellow FG brothers. I WILL BE BRINGING AEROTECH TO YOU GUYS! for me, this is just another reason to justify all of the travel and fun! i have subscribed to a certain business theory for several years now and it rings true in every instance... you will be great at your job if you love doing it!!!!!!!!!!! guys.... I'M GONNA LOVE THIS JOB!

we are based out of clinton, iowa! right here in the good old midwest! i will post the new ph # asap. we are keeping the existing web site address and even some of the content. we will be updating the site when we return from the nall. as i said earlier, it will be just a little while before we are ready for busines.... we really want to get this right and have aerotech hit one out of the park in the first inning!

i will however have one kit available for sale at the nall. in my research of the company i purchased 2 42% extra 300 midwing kits from the previous owner. i am just about done with the build on the first one and i have one left in kit form. i have added the carbon tubes for wing and stab to this kit already and will let it go for a very reasonable price at the joe nall. it'll be in our booth! AGAIN.... This does NOT mean that we are open for buisness yet!! i just figured that it would be nice to see someone get a jumpstart on their new aerotech build and be able to fly one this summer! you will not believe how quickly these go together!

thanks again for the support and encouragement guys! this sure is a tremendous group here at FG!

That is a fine airplane. I have one and love it. And those who have had the LUCK of flying my plane have loved it as well and now with the New Owners focused on the flyers I can once again proudly where my Aerotech Hat and Shirt.

I have also finally finished the repairs and installation on my 35% Edge 540 V1. Can't wait to see this plane in the air again as well.

I am currently flying one of the Aerotech 42% Extra 300 planes that Dean Nistettler built. It is the best flying plane that I've had so far! Good job guys. BTW are you moving lock stock and barrell to Clinton, IA?

Congrats to the new Aerotech. This is great news for those of us that like to build kits. More options.

Cool man, its cool to have more kits in the market especially for an old school guy that likes to build. Maby I missed it as I skimed over the previous posts but are you going to have a web site up?

Great to hear there will be more choices in kit models out there. All the best with your new company.

Yes, the site is supposed to be the same address for now and will be updated in the weeks to come (no timeline set yet though). I think after the Nall is when most of the updates will be coming after reading through all these posts on here.

Great news. I had the Cap on mly list but when things went nutty over there I backed off. I look forward to finally building the CAP. I would also love to see some type of USRA legal built up kit available. Sounds like you guys may be able to produce something along those lines...

G

Good Luck to all three of you
