This is the all NEW AEROTECH. I know no one has said anything negative yet and hopefully it stays that way. Let's put the past behind us and keep our eyes to the future cause that's what it is all about. I'm glad to be apart of a group of guys that feel the same way I do. I'm all about new things and these three guys know that. Everyone knows I'm a big Giles fan so let me be the first one to say that we are in the works on a 46% Giles 202 121" wing span 110 from the cowl to the rudder. That's 14 inches longer than the one I'm flying now. WOW

On another note to all my Dalton friends, I'm not going anywhere. I'm still building Dalton's and Aerotech's so don't hesitate to call me about building either manufacturers plane. Matter of fact I will be posting a build on a pimped out 40% Sukhoi-26 for myself by the end of the year. I already have a list of mods that will make this big bird lite and strong, so keep your eyes open for this thread.

I'm happy to see that there will be another kit vendor again. I'm 100% sure there is a market for the right kind of product from the right kind of company.

From a customer service standpoint I think the best thing you can do is be engaged with the community and be transparent. If you see that some mod is being done by builders and it improves the experience of building or owning the airplane then credit them and incorporate it into the design. Talk with builders, encourage build threads, be available for support on forums as well as by e-mail.

Hardware packs are a great idea. Throw a couple of nice vinyl graphics in there as well with your logo.

I'm waiting for someone to offer pre-cut covering, the way they do for ARF's. You could have a "Signature" scheme for each airplane and make the covering available as an optional extra as well as pre-painted fiberglass parts.

Someone needs to do a Slick 540, Yak-55, MX2/MXS. Lots of good options out there now for IMAC airframes that are not being kitted.

it is great to see all of the great comments here! we are very excited about bringing this line of aircraft right back to the front row! everybody make sure to check out our all new 42% edge 540 at the nall. John Nelon "X-Rated", will be flying the first one and it should be quite a crowd pleaser. it is light, strong and a 3d monster!

we aim to please all types of pilots with our kit line-up. i believe that we have one of the most diverse kit selections on the market. i sure hope to see some orders for some of the more "forgotten about" airframes! the 50-60cc Chipmunk will be a dazzler for sure! i am with rob on the whole sukhoi thing.... I LOVE 'EM! our new 40% SU26 should be ahead of it's class in design, construction, performance and yes...weight!!!!!! rob will be getting his build thread on the first one together hopefully sooner than later!!!!

after the nall we plan to bring back the Aerotech Support Thread here on FG. Rob and myself will be constantly monitoring that thread and will make ourselves available to all with technical questions.

again, for those that missed the earlier post, the website address will remain the same and we will be making all of our changes right after our return from Triple Tree!!! as i posted earlier, we don't want to jump the gun on our preparation at all. we will keep everyone up to date on our grand opening and believe me.... we want it to be RIGHT NOW! we just have to see to it that when we announce ourselves open for business that we are able to satisfy all of our customers not only with the best kits, but with the best service and support as well!!!!!

WE DO HAVE the slick540, and yak55 in kit form!!!!! i am absolutely thrilled to be bringing these airframes to market in kit form as i too agree there will be a great demand for them! we have 2 to 3 sizes of each and they will be ready shortly....(this summer!!!)

Yeah but I think y'all are reaching a little there !!

I just read the thread right after I commented on the new owners Dalton for sale in the Swap Shop. I told him it was OK to fly some other brand plane for "research" purposes.

Glad to see AeroTech is back.

Congratulation Matt, great news, I can feel the positive excitement in everyone's posts, I have bought a lot of ARF's lately but nothing comes close to a custom built airframe, see you soon.
