OK, here are a few photos. I didn't take many, though. Hopefully others will post, too.
Big thanks to Jeff, Larry and company for putting on a great event. A little windy on Saturday (not really, but I need an excuse for the landing on my second flight...), but otherwise a great weekend with no major aircraft losses. That is not to say that there wasn't some excitement: minor mishaps included a few broken props (yes, others had trouble landing in the wind, too), a landing gear separation, and during freestyle a crazy bent wingtube (Dominic Grasso?) plus Matt Szueber's smoke demonstration when his H9 260's electric motor got toasted cutting a promising routine short. It was great to spend some time with old friends and make a few new ones. |
