What expander to run 7.4v?

I am going to run the new Hitec servos designed to run 7.4 volts. I know the servos were meant to run unregulated, but a charged battery is over 8v. Do I still need an expander with a voltage regulator? How high can they adjust?
Plane is a 40% and am going to run 9 of the new Hitec 486 oz @ 7.4.

I would check out the 42% products. They have a power expanded called the blue box. It comes in 8 and 12 channels. I plan on using one in both my dalton. The reciever receives 5 volts consta t and the servos will recieve what ever the I put volt ofthe batteries are. So input 7.4 volts output 7.4 volts.Also it has a battery systems that equally draws power from both batteries. I would check it. I plan on using the same 7950th in my 42%. Hope this helps. Also they sell regs that can be adjusted to suit your needs.

You can run any of our PowerExpanders. They will transfer your input voltage to the servos and regulate a 5V voltage to your receiver. We also now have a servo regulator so you can run a lower voltage servo on your throttle if you want.

You don't need a regulator, I've been running that setup for several months. You can also check with Hitec as I did and they will tell you the same.

So, I saw that the Competetion 12 turbo is 279.
EQ6 turbo is 299.
Why? What am I missing?
What is the 35 amp rating for?
My plane requires 6 aileron servos and 4 on the rudder. Plans were to run 2 per aileron and 3 on rudder. 486 oz/servo means 1458 oz for the rudder. If the plane calls for 4 servos, I was going to use 7955's. Thats 1332 oz. Even though I am running less servos, am I going to be drawing more amps do to their power? Ohms laws says so.
Am I overthinking and should just buy?

You are looking at the PowerSystems and I think you want to be looking at the PowerExpanders. The PowerSystems have built-in servo regulators for those that are not running servos that are compatible with straight lithium packs. Since you want to run servos compatible with lithiums you should check out the PowerExpanders.

Like the Power Expander EQ10 It has 10 channels that all have built in servo matching, filtered/amplified signals to all channels, and 5 volts regulated to the receiver. It also has dual Deans inputs for dual batteries, and a failsafe switch option which eliminates the need for inline switches between the batteries and expander.
Also, if those Hitecs actually manage to put out what they claim, you will not need three on the rudder, unless you have one huge ass, heavy ass plane. If you will be under or around 40 pounds, two servos is plenty.

The EQ10 does not have servo regulating. As brought up earlier, I want the throttle to be regulated, as it is going to be a standard servo.
I considered on 2 on the rudder too, but the plane is supposed to weigh 42 lbs and I tend to be violent. Although, that weight includes 13 servos, I only need 10. Still only loosing 1/2 lb though.
I think I will settle on the Competetion 12 turbo.

You can use the Eq10 and order our Servo Regulator. Its meant to go between a PowerExpander running at 7.4V and regulate that down to 5.2V for a throttle servo. Its not on the site yet so you can call in or order an Ignition Reg and tell us in the notes when you check out you really want the Servo Reg, they are the same price.
