Bought a 2 Gal can from Harbor freight and thing's got a spout like any other 2 gallon you buy. I was thinking of JB Welding a round piece of plastic in the cap hole and removing the spout. Is JB Weld gas safe?

Also Bought some fuel fittings from Great planes and it says glow only, but it's just bronze/metal fittings. the filters it came with has some gaskets but I'm not going to use those filters. Am I ok with using just the can fittings?

For now I'm going with crank system (six shooter gas pump, it was $9 new so i figured i'd give it a shot)

Sorry about bumping the thread, I saw no reason to make a new thread.

Just get some seal-all instead of JB weld.
