Default 42% YAK 54 Maiden

Well I maidened my 42% Aerotech YAK 54 today . First is the set up. Aerotech 42% Yak kit, 3W 150 with Cans, HiTech 5955 on all surfaces . 2 per Aileron, 1 per elevator half and 2 on rudder with a SWB Self Adj tray. Smart Fly power expander, Fromeco Ion Corps batterys, regs and switches, Sullivan smoke system. AUW 44# .
So I took the plane to a sod farm where there are no trees. Got her put together and checked her out. Everything worked well, did a range check with both engine off and on . Then it was time to fly.
She rolled out and lifted off. She needed 3 clicks left rudder and 3 clicks down elevator. All I can say is WOW. I love the way she flies. I think I can use a 31x10 prop over the 32x10 menz. Vertical is unlimited but it will be lacking at a higher altitude. Anyway after a few trim flights I set up for a landing. She settled right in and landed like a dream. I think I am going to like this plane. I will have video posted soon.
I would like to thank Brandon Peterson who built and covered this plane. It was a 2yr wait, but it flies great. Thanks Brandon .

Looks good, try a 30x12 mejzlik, I think you'll like the upline speed with that one. Big difference over my 32x10 Mej.
What are the deminsions of this yak, I cant remember what they were.

Plane looks great! I love the slow down lines of this plane. It is also great to see the Aerotech line return again with Smokin and his partners taking over the line. By the way I just removed the DA150 and installed a DA 170 in mine.
