Default TP 610 display conking out

Anyone have the display conk out on their TP 610? My first one went about 2 weeks, the second one has been used maybe 10 times and it is starting to fadeout too. Kinda annoying having to send it back a second time.

Yes, I'm on my second 610 and the screen is going out on this one as well. I appreciate TP's service but I will probably avoid getting another one of their chargers in the future.

Me too, I'm on my second one. The screen on my first one got worse as the charger got hot. I'm thinking the problem is heat related as there have been a few around my neck of the woods that overheated to the point of smoke coming out of them when charging large packs.

I will buy Hyperion next.

This is a known problem. I sent mine back and they replaced the screen with a 'high temperature' one. Whatever. It was broken and they fixed it for free. Took about a month though. That was last fall and so far it's been working fine.

Do they have a new "high-temp" screen now? I sent mine back for replacement last year and the new screen has died as well. I found that sticking the charger in the fridge for a few minutes allows me to actually see the screen so I can make adjustments before starting a charge.

That sucks. I don't know. Mine still works and, given your report, hope it keeps working.

Bantam makes one that's similar that I like very much. Much easier to figure out that's for sure.
