WT come on down brotha. It should take you about 2 to 2.5hrs from Nashvegas. I will look at some maps but I would say that the easiest way would be head down I-24 east to I-59 south.

Hope you can make it.

Ice cream!!! At least 4 of us, maybe more, are coming up from Cheaha RC in Lineville. Maybe we can get Ed to come up with his 42% Edge.

That sounds good. I'll see if I can get a kitchen pass. We'll be visiting the inlaws so it's a bit iffy right now. I'll do my best to make it.

By the way, I was checking on Hotels in the area and I always use Hotels.com. Found on in Ft. Payne named Rodeway Inn. Is it near the field? Do you have a listing of any other hotels. The hotel I found has a great price of 49.99.

ok, I have been out of pocket here lately. . . . .
So far we have Peach, chocolate and vanilla home made ice cream.
There will be one other surprise gallon.

We have been getting in more stuff for the raffle

For motels, they are very convenient to the flying field. Most are one
block North of I-59. The 218 interchange is about 2 miles from the
field.

Days Inn, 256-845-2085
Econo Lodge 256-845-4013
Holiday Inn Express 845-997-1020

For any of you who did not download the map & flyer in post 13, here
is some information on where we are.
From I-59 interchange 218 go South on Hwy 35.
When you arrive at the junction of Hwy 11 go South on Hwy 11.
Turn left on 23rd Street South East.
Cross RR tracks and keep going straight to entrance to Jacoway Field.
You have arrived!
