Alright, i bought this plane at a swap meet today, and i loved it!!! it came with a Saito 120 golden night and it looked fantastic! I got home, and realized the carburator wouldnt move, i thought the pushrod was jammed, but fur enough, it was just the carb, so how should i fix this???? thanks a lot!

Just drop it in some glow fuel or if ya have some Marvel Mystery oil squirt some in the venturi if is is cracked open on the engine. I've aquired a few glow engines that were not stored properly and they were gummed up.
Let it soak a while and try it. Both methods have worked for me, once I had to let one soak overnight. By the way I had one of those engines on my very first 1.20 size plane and loved it. Still I think your plane will have to be under 10lbs. for hovering with decent pullout. Mine was not a Golden Knight but came with the gold valve covers (I guess they ran out of the silver) which made me feel mine was unique.

If it has been sitting up that long, you might want to take the valve covers off and squirt a little light oil on the moving parts. I love my Saitos, too.

I have found that ATF or Dexron works excellent in saito's for oiling of bottom end and valve erea ! It will soften any residue or shellacing and keep engine free. I just over hauled my 180 due to bent crank and found that there is no real passage for oil to get to top under valve covers, so I pull them occasionally and give them some oil. When I pulled the 180 apart it was nice and clean and bearing cages were not rusted. To dose the engine with ATF I use the case vent tube and allow it to suck up several good gulps of oil. Any excess will be vented back out of vent. It does no real good at all to dose eng intake with oil as it only treats the combustion chamber, except for storage, it is wasted. I mix a tiny bit of mollybedenum disulfide into oil and shake it up before doseing eng's. and I believe it is good for the Rod ends and rear bearing. I've been oiling up all my engines with atf now for many yrs and trust it. Use some on the carb too and it will loosen up, be careful what solvents you use as it can make the O Rings swell up and make them awfully tight till they decompose and go away !
