Hey guys.
Everyone here at Flyingiants.com is coming off a rush from being at the 2009 Joe Nall. We all had a great time and we worked really hard this year to make the FG presence visually strong. We used our T-shirt promo fund and bought six very nice flutter flags to display along the flight lines of all the up coming events we will be attending in 2009. These flags looked great and really let people know that the Giants were in attendance. The Flags cost FG around $275 each, but when we finally saw them blowing in the breeze we knew we had made the right decision. They look GREAT! Unfortunately, two of the six flags seemed to have blown away at some point during Thursday and/or Friday night. (I am sure they blew away, because I have a hard time believing ANY of our members would be rude enough to steal them knowing how much we need the flags for the upcoming season) SO... perhaps the flags were found blowing around in the morning or found stuck in your trailer by the wind, if so, I sure would really appreciate if I could get them sent back. For finding our beloved flags, and becoming a hero to the site, I will gladly send a fat hat and T-shirt swag package your way. And the only assumption we will have is that you found the flags, and are helping us out by returning them. The flags I'm speaking of are shown below. if anyone found them PLEASE PM me. PLEASE! Thanks!

hopefully the right thing will be done here. it is too bad that it takes a bribery package of other FG swag to entice someone to do the right thing and return these flags. just call it a prank or a joke or whatever.... just get these things back to the FG crew.

i didn't post that to undermind the class that sleepy shows or the general well intent of FG as a whole. i just hoped that it wouldn't take generocity on the part of the victim to get property returned!
hopefully the good nature of the FG brotherhood will show thru and the flags will turn up.

Hey Sleepy,
That same wind blew some of the Horizon stuff away too, so if anybody happens to have found them they'd love to have them back. Included among the missing are several flags (JR/DSM, Spektrum and Hangar 9) that were on poles from the top of the hill down to the gazebo, a JR/DSM windsock that was ziptied and duct taped to the Horizon booth (BIG wind got that one), and a JR/DSM beach flag that was against the treeline on the other side of the runway. The beach flag in particular would be most welcome if returned. Craig. Team Horizon. |

Well said Sleepy.
The flags all looked great. I hope they all make it home safe. Post your address in this thread Sleepy if anyone wants to "anonomously" send any they found back. |

Let's not sugar coat this - Someone STOLE $500 worth of stuff from Steve. There's a general perception that banners are freebies, but they are not. They cost a ton of money to make, and I personally burned about $5k on them the first 3 years of FG under the same circumstances. If you're the one who jacked these, return 'em ASAP. If you think they look sweet in your garage and you decide to keep 'em, know you're on the same level with a crack smokin' thief who stole $500 out of someone's wallet. Pisses me off hearing this.
