OK, Here is the closing statements on this plane. Almost a year after purchasing this plane I finally got to fly it Saturday.
The plane was finished about 4 months ago and was waiting on winter to end to fly her. The maiden was was nice and required onlt 2 clicks of up and left to fly hands off. I have the CG to the front a bit till I get comfortable but that won't take long at all. first impression was very smoth and predictable. I didn't push it too hard but the plane does good flat spins and rolling harriers. power is excellent with the DL55, I was hovering at under half throttle. Landings were a bit different for me as I am used to extras, and the big round cowl really slows the plane down on final approach. I kept the idle up on and she set down like a butterfly with sore feet. Now it is time to go over every bolt and joint and check for problems and I have a new favorite plane.

I picked up a used 87" Knox hobbies at Joe Nall and was hoping you had some directions on this plane. I would really like to know the recommended CG and throws for all surfaces. Any help is really appreciated.

PM me your e-mail and when I get home tonight I'll fwd you the CG info I got from DeWayne. As far as throws go. for 3D, it's all you can get. for normal flying I have my rates at about %65 of max throw. the only thing I did not mentioned above was switch out the factory servo arms on the elevators for aluminum ones. It's a good plane, very solid and predictable.
