Westside IMAC Challenge : Oklahoma City : June 13-14

When: June 13th & 14th. Registration starts Saturday at 7:30am. Pilots meeting at 8:30 and wheels up at 9:00 both days.

Where: Hollman Field, home of the Westside R/C Flyers in Yukon Oklahoma (Google map). For those with GPS the field is just West of the intersection of West Wagner Rd. and N. Piedmonte Rd. in Yukon Oklahoma.

Landing Fee: $30 for IMAC members and $40 for non members. The club is providing lunch both days.

Additional Info:

• For those interested in doing Freestyle we can play CD's or take input from iPods.
• Campers are allowed at the field but there are no hookups.

No doubt! we are looking forward to great weather, lots of pilots and some serious IMAC skills being demonstrated. For those that have been here before, you know how nice the field is for IMAC... for those that have not been here, there are no trees, lots of room with a great horizon,(flat) and 700 feet of grass runway. We would like to welcome all pilots to come enjoy the Westside R/C flyers IMAC event.

Here are some hotels near by. I am working on having someone stay at the field. There is a gate that will be locked but as of now I don't have anyone definitiely confirmed staying at the field.

I will have a motor home on site from Friday til Sunday and there will be security all weekend. Look foraward to having everyone flying with us this weekend.

realy? cool. I'm leaving my trailer out there all weekend. I'm gonna try and get 1/2 day off on Friday so I can come hang/practice.

Really I will be most gratified if everyone enjoys the contest and I come in last in Sportsman, again. The weather looks really promising at this time. But that can change in an Oklahoma minute. One of the challenges of flying in the the heartland is the weather. You just gotta deal.
