Is it a new engine? If so just try the 28-10 for now. And then use the 25-12 3-blade if you want after the break in, are you running pipes? If so try the 3-blade.

up your voltage to at least 6.5v ....Flutter will destroy a plane .................

Hello,
I have this plane with the 106CS too, with the 28/10 Mejzlik my plane is a rocket. My engine pull it at 6700-6800 rpm on the ground. I am waiting the new 3W L70 canister because my actual Muffler are KS 80V4 and they are too small (Vibration, no smooth throttle). During the first fly, i also have flutting problem on the elevator, my problem comes from the Kavan ball link. I replace it by the Dubro and now is good Julien |

Today I made an reinforced of the fuselage with 3mm honeycomb from the end of the canopy to the first former that it is placed in front of the stabs , this former was damage from the flutter. I think the back of the fuselage is too weak .
I hope , tomorrow i will have more luck . |

I had some flutter in my Krill as well. I put about 1.5oz of weight in the counter balance of the elevator and have not had any issues at all with flutter since. I went with 1.5oz of weight because I had 3oz of stick on weight to get my cg where I wanted it, and so I used the same amount of weight to use on my counterbalances.
Hope your flutter ends! |

Hi guys,
Today i did fly my Katana and everything seems to be very good.I put the 28/10 Mejlik, and replace the 3 W linkage with 4-40 Dubro adjustable ball. The engine run very smooth with no vibrations. During the flight,i tested the full throtle at the orizontal line, and everything was o.k. Now i can tell you that after all that problems, this plane, worth all effort !!!!!!!!! I really apreciate you advices,it was very helpful for me. |

Hi cesar
I don't have any down /up trust to the engine .If you have the same engine and the same mufflers from 3w the CG should be like in the manual .Tray to put the battery from rx in front to the fus.If the CG is in the corect position try to check the incident to the wings , the incident of the stab is difficult to adjust.
