My wife leaves tomorrow for a trip to Tiffin for 2 weeks. I took a pass this year, kind of wish I was going now!!

Fly RC all day, then hit New Riegel for ribs and beer!! Now THAT'S a fun day!!

BTW - her maiden name is Kirchner. She grew up on Hedges street not far from the park. Her Dad was a fireman and her Mom was a nurse at Mercy Hospital (the new one is really nice!!). She went to Calvert and graduated in 1972. We got married in Tiffin in 1981.

My Mom has worked at the New Riegel Cafe for 38 years and my Aunt has been the I think 35 years. I am graduate of New Riegel class of '88. We played against Calvert many of times. Ribs and Beer are still the talk of the town. The only thing that has changed is they have a bigger High School now.

Then it's likely that your Mom has served me some ribs and beer!! I go every time I am there!! It's funny, last time I was there (last summer) we even commented on some of the folks there have been there a very long time and how cool it was that they had such long term employees!!

Done deal Mike... it was pretty windy.... The pot luck lunch was very good today...

I would have replied to you earlier, but went to the field about 8am, and
just got home around 5:15pm.....

but you know that we can fly floaters anytime also, if you
need a lake to fly off of ...

i don't have anything with floats yet, but i was going to come down to watch but with the wind, i ended up just working around the house. looking forward to the lynn cole fly in july 18th and 19th, will be my first time flying at torcm, well except for new years day flying that little foamy in the high winds and freazing.

I don't have any floaters yet either... We did have one gas Enforcer boat making
it's run on the lake too..... I should have taken out a couple of mine....
but, I just watched and conversed w/ guests... still had fun

I hope the Lynn Cole is Off the Hook! Looking forward to a wild time!

Oh, yes, good old New Years Snowball fly-in..... you ain't a kiddin it was freezing!
and the few of us brave guys really tackled the wind.. that was cool watchin' you fly the foamy....
