HI Guys, A freind of mine who didnt want the hassle of building a plane himself bought my Extreme Flight 110' yak 54 turn key for the price of all new components!! so I now have funds to buy a new plane my last 110' I found a bit marginal with the DL100 on stock mufflers , I didnt want to go tune pipe as I didnt want to go with the hassle of broken headers I experienced with my 2x2s..with a new DL111 that would solve the power issue right with out going to pipes ?
I really liked the way the EF 110 would fly 3D especially with a vess 28B so now do I again go back to the same 110 yak I really liked and just bolt on a new DL111 or are there any new 100cc airframes that can fly as good 3d wise as my old EF 110 Yak?? I have the DL111,7955s, A123s, vess 28B all I need now is an airframe. any advise? Im 90% on another EF 110 unless theres a new plane better than that on the market or coming out in a month or so.I can probably hold out for a month or so since I still have my EF 88' yak. my old yak rolling around on the grass

I dont think that you will find a better plane than the 110" EF Yak. It flies some much like a bigger plane. I wonder why you were marginal on power with the 100. I am flying mine on a DA 100 with stock mufflers and love it. I started out with ES Composite pipes and a Vess 28A. The power was good but I feel that the plane performs just as well with stock mufflers and a Vess 27A.

HI thanks I actually ordered the same plane now with the same scheme, I was thinking about getting the russian thunder scheme but the yellow stripes on on the old scheme adds to visibility. 3D wise its ok with stock mufflers on 27B 28B doesnt rev much. on imac style flying its a bit lacking, actually flew the plane once on sea level and its really perfect but the regular field I go too makes it a bit underpowered but Im sure the new dl111 will sort that out. has anyone heard of the new 128 cc from MT engines?

the DLE111 ran really well like 6600rpm on a 28x10, then the rear crank bearing broke and ate the cylinders with it, I bit the bullet bought a BME116 for $1500 with mufflers ouch!! but I heard this things last!, has anyone mounted this on standard mufflers? where do we need to put the batts in the motor box? I run A123s
