I hope you guys (and gals) are ready for the Crosby Tru Turn Challenge. We at Prop Nuts are ready to go and looking foward to having you. Be sure to go and pre register at SC Imac website link. This will help us get into the air quicker Sat. morning. I know from talking to everyone that there are many more coming than are signed up so let's get registered. Field is is ready and in great shape, trophies in, burgers and dogs ready, and the club is ready to host you guys. I think they are getting tired of looking at Garrett and myself doing our boring routines. Here are a couple of more #'s for hotels in the I-10 and Garth Rd. area that are not on our website (www.propnuts.com). These are the closet to the field (10 mins). Some of you have asked about the hotels in the Channelview area. This is about 25 mins from the field but it's a rough part of town. I don't recommend it, but it's your choice. If you are coming in from the North, the closet one to the field is a Best Western on 1960 in Atascocita (281-852-5665). Probably a little over 20 mins from field. The hotels at the 59 and 1960 area are about 30 mins. from field. There will be some one at the field Friday and Saturday nite so you can leave your trailers. Field will be open Friday and we should be through mowing by noon at the latest. I am waiting for the glue to dry... motor is being Fedex'ed as I type, should be here tomorrow or THURSDAY at the latest. Canopy going on tomorrow and maiden on friday afternoon... then drive to the field.

Latest on the weather is good for the weekend. Front passing through late Wednesday or early Thursday and good after that. Morning temps in the mid 60's with lower humidity for Friday through the weekend.

Rick, I will be flying the same (errr) replaced airframe that I flew in Kingsbury.
All that is left is the FLYING WIRES and the canopy and mount motor and cut cowl and test fly friday. Chuck |
