Mid-Michigan IMAC

Just a reminder that the Mid-Michigan IMAC contest is fast approaching. Get your pre-registrations in for June 6-7 in Jackson, Michigan. Pre-registration will help us be well prepared for all the contestants and helps us to get started early on Saturday. Remember rustic camping and RV parking are available on site but sorry-we have no hook ups. Tom Kroggel of TnT Landing Gear is once again supporting our contest this year and he promised something new is coming. Bob Ritchey from Smart-Fly is also proving over $200 in contest prizes to be given away during the awards on Sunday.
On Saturday evening, we are planning a get together for anyone who wants to attend at the now famous Steaks Eatery. Several of us joined together there last year, had great food and a great time. I reserved a room for us this year so all are welcome. Pay-as-you-go from an extensive menu of hand cut-steaks, chicken, ribs and chops with all the fixin's- all at very reasonable prices with great service. What more could you ask???? I need to send in an estimate of the numbers planning to attend so if you could let me know by email, that would be very helpful.

The Jackson RC Club website is attached to the IMAC contest announcement at www.mini-iac.com with directions and information about area motels within a few minutes of the field. The field is open on Friday afternoon for practice and set up. Hope you can join us for a great weekend of competition.

Final countdown to the Mid-Michigan IMAC contest this weekend in Jackson, Michigan. For those who have let me know that they can't make it .... sorry that we will miss you this year! For those that are planning to attend, the Jackson RC Club is rolling out the welcome mat and it looks to be a great weekend for competition. One of our sponsors, Tom Kroggle of TnT Landing Gear and coordinator of the ETOC, is planning to join us at the Sunday awards ceremony for a special announcement. Smart-Fly and Desert Aircraft have also contributed some great prizes for our IMAC competitors that will be given out at the awards.
There's plenty of room for more contestants, especially Intermediate, Advance and Unlimited pilots. Still room also for dinner at the great Steaks Eatery on Saturday evening. You won't want to miss it! The weather looks like it is going to cooperate again this year so come and join us.
