Fellow Giants I would like to invite you all to upstate New York just outside the Albany area for the annual Strawberry Acres Fun Fly which is being sponsored in part by Barn Speed Hobbies.This year is bringing several changes to the event which include the focus on giant scale and promoting a 3D friendly environment.For three full days you can enjoy a well manicured 80'x 2000' rolled grass runway that will handle virtually any size aircraft with a wide open overfly area.Food will be available for the event in it's entirety along with multiple raffles and a pilots give away.We will also have a special noon time 3D demo by no other than the "Snap a saurus" himself .
Primitive camping is permitted with full restrooms on site.Electric is available for charging electrics.
This is sure to be a Bad A$$ event so save the date and come and join us for some hucking in upstate New York June 12th - 14th in Buskirk N.Y.

You know I'll be thereMostly working the event to make it one to remember and return to.I will be hucking it at least twice a day,We can't have snappy have all the fun and glory.Now is it one snap or two snaps I can't remember,Oh well hold the sticks till it stops rotating.

I will try my best to be there. I have Regents tests and final exams that week aka starting on monday the 16th. So i guess if i do go then i will also bring all of my studying stuff so that i can study on the road! and at the field! Hope i can make it! i will have my 30% toc-xtreme yak 54wit a da 50 and possibly my 33%gp Cap 580 wit a da100 there if it gets finished up in time! See you all soon! Take care! 3dAndrew I'll look forward to seeing you bro.Definitely bring your school work because I think we can accommodate you with a quiet place to study,that is after 7pm when the electrics come out.

After 7 huh, I`ll have them out early! I`ll have my 50cc Extra 260 conversion, along with a trailer full of fun! Hey chris can I use the hovering 40%`ers as pylons for the wicked wing! LOL!

yeppo , sounds like a weekend , be able to camp/pitch tent? firepit??, whats there for facilities?bathrooms/power etc. (i know whats there, askin for everyone else)lol

I thought I covered all this in my post after Sleepy started this tread but I will go over it again in case of any confusion.
Early arrivals are welcome,RV's and tents are permitted for primitive camping,fires are allowed but must be contained in a pit.We have full restroom facilities that have flush toilets and sinks.We also have limited power for charging electrics.

I'll take your word for it. LOL. Trust me i don't need any silence for studying. i am used to building planes and studying. Many methods of studying i have learned of the years. LOL Well now i just have to twist my dads arm a little to see if he will drive me there. LOL. HOpe i can make it. Thanks again for the info! Take care!
