Hey guys, The guys at PAU have just come out with the totally awsome 50cc Extra 300SP. The plane is tottally bad-ass. Looks like a real winner.

I have their 30% Edge and it flies awesome.I'm sure this new Extra will be nothing less than exceptional.Just out of curiosity what does the SP abbreviation stand for?

Saw this plane first hand in action and all i can say is WOW! it will harrier, torque roll, blender, etc... with very little effort, i know what im saving my pennies for

Guys I've had the opportunity to fly the prototype on several occasions and I have to say it's the best precision 50cc that I've had the chance to fly. Even at an 88" wingspan, the prototype weighs 16.5 pounds with a DA-50 on a pitts muffler, and the production models should be a little lighter than that! While maintaining excellent 3D capabilities, this plane tracks arrow-straight and does some of the cleanest snap rolls of any plane I've flown (no matter what the size). Additionally, this airplane really does maintain the scale looks of the full scale 300SP very well, and it doesn't look like a pattern plane dressed up as an Extra! With the included carbon fiber landing gear and wing/stab tubes, as well as included wing bags and the aerobatic sights, this is one smoking hot plane for 2009!

Wow, I never thought to compare the two size wise. I know the Sukhoi is big for a 50cc airframe but the Extra, by itself, didn't seem that big. Anyway I'm stoked, engine is ordered, servos are waiting and the plane fund is up to snuff, just waiting on the boat.............................................. .....
