Clover Creek DVD - Released!

It brings me great pleasure to announce that the theatrical DVD of the Clover Creek Aerodrome Invitational has been finalized and released. It has been nearly 8 months since the debut event of the bi-annual Invitational and IMAC competiton that took place at John and Tina Schroders residence in Toone, Tenn. For those that had missed the event - this is your opportunity to own a piece of history in the making....and for those that were able to come and participate - is your chance to remenice of some good times.

We had fantastic event coverage by Fred Midgett at Higher Plane Productions, Wil Beyers of RC Sport Flyer magazine as well as Jerry Smith for Model Aviation magazine. Fred had sent me a preliminary copy of the final product this past weekend and have watched it three times!

It is very hard to put three days of flying in 90 minutes of film...but he did a fantastic job doing this! From the start, the video has you locked in and eager for more.....so much more, that it would be wise to add the Data DVD to your collection as well!! His work is really nice and had captured this event to the fullest....it is probably one of the best RC videos I have in my collection and would highly recomend this to any RC enthusiat.

Lets show our support to Fred and what he does for this hobby by buying some of these DVD's he has to offer! Countless hours has gone into this video and mnay others - just so that we have something to do while it s raining outside, cant make it to the field, or showing our family and friends what exactly our hobby is made of - this Clover Creek DVD will show exactly what happens on the field - and off =)

Any other way to view the trailers other then QuickTime?
Everytime I load QuickTime it crashes my computer.

Guys - also dont forget about the First IMAC contest this September 4-6 being held at Clover Creek, Toone Tenn. this year!!!!

There are already 65 pilots registered for this event!!!! and we are anticipating 70+. Please make plans to attend this years contest as it is going to be just as nice as last years Invitational event.

Wil Beyers of RC Sport Flyer magazine will be there to do another great article about the venue and the contest itself...

Next year, same time frame, is the 2nd CCA Invitational Competiton!!! stay tuned.

See DVD menu photos attached for a bit more insight. There were 12 invitational pilots and the Freestyle of all 12 are on the DVD. There are 9 (complete) Freestyle flights and about 5 (partial) IMAC flights in the main program. There are 4 more Freestyles and 7 more sequence flights in the bonus material. I put Gernot's first Freestyle in the main program and his second in the bonus area since he flew two totally different routines.

The music is PRISTINE on this DVD - right off the sound board. Really nice.

The DATA DVD has 129 total films - a lot more flights and complete interviews - but the theatrical DVD presents the highlights and "story" of the event in a 90 minute program. -Fred

Not just you Seth...I want the WORLD to see that spectacular near-save. Thanks for splatting right in front of me. Without a doubt the best show-center carnage I've ever filmed. ;-)
