Default My new Carden 35% 260

Been building this one since the beginning of the year and flew her for the first time on Thursday!since then ive but 9 flights on her and totally loving it!I built this one light(24.1lbs)(10.2 KG's) with the intention to use a DA85 but opted for the 100 instead Iam running only one Hitec 7955 per aileron ran carbon toe 'zig zaged' down each side of the aileron's to stiffen them up!installed over sized servo supports and installed a spar extender to strengthen up the wing!I also vac baged the wings thus reducing the epoxy weight and better adhesion, removed abt 1/2 kg of ply from the motor box and saved weight on spruce selection

all in all a super light weight 3D machine

Good to see a bit of a different scheme on it. Now get that pilot and spinner sorted, then you can give me a go next time I'm back!

Was well impressed with the bit of stick time I got on your 40% Carden.

I think I will be building a 35% 260 in the not so distant future...........(and getting a very angry wife in the process!)

Craig, I (personally) really like the customization Tony G. did on his Dalton pilot - using a two color helmet/visor. (& custom color fire suit outfit!) Sweetpea has done a similar two color too!
Greens aren't a color we stock -but all the same, we could paint helmet and visor white - while you paint the visor green to match at your shop. I think that would be a winner for a true unique cockpit and killer life like scale pilot in your bird.

Or we can do any two color combinations we have in stock as you request. (each of the Mega PilotsŪ truly are custom made to order). Black w/ silver visor may be a winner too? (sorry no dark blue in stock)

Lastly- we'll send helmet and visor in primer and you take it from there!? You have a really great project there- keep it up!
