No more Crash Talking!! I just recieved my Torque 820 and and Airboss 45 amp esc,and was wondering two things,

One, Where did you guys mount the esc?
B, What did you discover the best CG posistion for precision as well as 3D ?

I'm not sure how much room for the CG we have to play with...

Thanks,
Frank

I mounted my ESC on the side of the motor box. I origonaly had the 900, and I used both spacers. IDK what the 820 will require. I should find out tonight! :-)

I kinda figured he met something else I just ignored him!!

Should the aluminum part of the Esc be facing the box or outside of the box? I figure outside to get the max cooling. And does it need foam under it or anything to protect it ?

Later..

With your battery right against the wing tube, how many inches back from the LE does it balance?
(How many batteries are you flying with?)

Just ordered mine, going Neu-Motors, Castle Creations ESC, and EM Batteries of course, should be 100+oz of thrust at around 180g swinging a 14x7 APC a lil over 7000rpm. Here is the set-up, I also plan to make a nice carryin/shipping case so I can bring it around the USA and Europe.

Neu 1110G 1Y with 6.7:1
Castle Creations ICE-75 ESC
EM-Distribution 30-35c 4S1P 2400mah Li-Po
Hitec 5065MG servos
AR 6200 RX
