nevermind i went back and saw that you're using HS-82's...may i ask why you are using those? the instructions and everyone else on here recommends the 65mg's. Yes the 82's have more torque, but in turn they are 7 grams heavier than the 65's and the 82's dont come with the selection of servo arms that the 65's do.. and yes i understand that they are like 14 dollars cheaper than the 65's but, if you're gonna build a plane, build it right IMO. spend the extra money on the recommended stuff and you wont run into problems like this.. i purchased my servos through Chief Aircraft and they had a quantity discount. got four for like 140 dollars shipped.

We have been using the HS-65MG's without any problems and we recommend using those. The stock arms that come with them are 7/8's long from the spline center to the end of the arm.

I'm only using HS 82's in the tail. BMS 373 MG in wings. Same specs as HS 65s.
Thank you for posting the length. I'll check it out when I get home tonight. Rishelman |

Well, I measured the servo arms I'm using (longest ones provided) and they are 9/16 (14.5mm). That's a far cry shorter than 7/8 for a plane of this size. I'll get some arms at least a 1/4 inch longer and give her a go again.
There will still be an inherent (sp?) twisting force on the servo arm, maybe not enough to cause as much concern. thanks again Rishelman |

Well, finally, I've got the first video done and uploaded! It's on the home page now in HD, or here on Youtube. These were only the first 3 flights, and we'll make another video soon when I know the plane even better. All I can say is that it's THE best electric on the market! It 3Ds like a 40%, and flies extremely precisely! There's nothing that Chris and EF could have done better! WOW!

Thanks! Glad you liked it. I'm using an APC 12x6 and it's just right for the Torque/Airboss setup.
