On Thursday I received the "65mm-75mm" can mounts. Out of the package they look great, very well made, anodizing, etc... Unfortunately the "65mm-75mm" can mounts won't even loosely fit a 65mm can... It could fall through it is so loose...

Devin,
I will swap them at the Snohomish meet. I am surprised. Bring your canister along and we will trial fit them with the other size I have. |

Here is my setup with all SECRAFT products on an Aeroworks 35% Exrta 300:
The switch on the switch/fuel dot combo is wired as a failsafe to work with SmartFly PE Pro. |

Just more info for you guys too!
I am also a dealer for this great product company: SECRAFT. It looks like Aztech Aeromodels has everything you need if interested and a cool website that is easy to navigate. My primary interest in selling this line of products is to provide a high quality line of accessories to customers who purchase my line of kits. The quality of the aluminum products is OUTSTANDING and I highly reccomend them. I have the cool servo arms and the side mount trays for my throttle servos. Great Stuff. www.billhempel.com Bill Hempel I have side servo mounts and servo arms in stock. Last edited by toc pilot; 06-30-2009 at 12:48 PM. |

Arnold,
I have personally not used it. I am sure someone who has used it will chime in soon. You might also want to check with DA about the use of soft mounts on their engines. Last edited by Azhar; 07-01-2009 at 01:02 PM. |

I've got a DA-100 floating mount but I haven't installed it as of yet. Quality is second to none, great product

Not sure I would use a floating mount... Think of a solid mounted servo going to a rubber mounted engine..... Might make your idle a bit inconsistent... Just my 2 cents...

I gotta agree with Devin on this one. using a rubber mount on a gas engine is " I think" a bad idea. You'll damage an airframe after time. It's a really cool idea and works great for glow engines , but they don't shake like a gasser.....just my $0.02.
