Put the maiden on my extra. all went well until a dead stick which i had to miss the field slightly. No harm done, just knocked my batts loose. Put flight 2 and 3 yesterday. Had to re tune the engine. was too rich, probably the reason for the dead stick. It flew extremely well. Nice rolls and snaps, they stop as soon as you let go of the sticks. Was a little windy but i can tell i have a slight roll in knife edge. I have mine just a tad nose heavy but i like it for now. the DL-55 pulled it just fine on a 22-8 prop. I can tell its heavier then the last plane it was on, but It pulls out just fine. I haven't done any snaps on uplines yet but i will try today to see how it pulls. So far im very impressed with it. It seems stable in any attitude. I'll try to snap some pics today.

Put some more flights on the Extra. Super smooth and stable come to mind. No crazy rocking, tipping or anything like that. The DL 55 now has a real CM-6 and needs to be leaned just a tad and it will be perfect. Got some good low hovers, about 1 foot off the ground and it has a nice solid pull from the hover. Not a rocket, but Its no slouch. (turning a bambula 22-8 at 7410rpm) So far Its probably my favorite plane to date. Just a good time all around. We have a person coming from the paper next week so I'll get some pics then. my camera died.

Oh ok, thanks. I'm finishing up my Pilot yak w/ hacker electric power and 260 w/ DLE55, both 30%. Just trying to figure out what to shoot for. Hoping for 15.5 to 16.25 for Yak and 14.75 to 15.25 for 260. We'll see
