Need QQ Python Canopy (Brio scheme)

I was at an event this past weekend and discoverd a significant hole in the canopy on my QQ Python (Brio scheme)at the end of the day.

I called Chief Aircraft this morning to find a replacement and they don't have any in their stock of parts. So I putting out a call to all of you Giants in the hope that somebody, somewhere might have one (or know someone who does) in excellent condition that I could purchase.

Ill keep an eye out for you Robert. I'm in the same boat, trying to help out a couple of buds here in Cali. Need a Kimbal Python Canopy and a Gen 4 Canopy. Ill call you if I find you one.

I would like to have a Kimball one myself. I bought one of the close out ones and it had a scratched up canopy on it. I called Chief and they didn't have any. I'm hoping the Beast canopy will fit and would just require some paint. What would be even better is if Horizon would sell an unpainted Beast canopy.

FYI - This post by mciaglia on Reza's Python build thread mentions that he crashed his Kimball schemed Python and judging from the parts that he's offering, it's possible he may have a canopy with those colors.

Spoke with the folks from Horizon while at Joe Nall, supposedly the canopy from their new QQ Pitts ARF "The Beast" should fit the 'legacy' QQ Pitts'..... just have to repaint it, obviously.

We'll be trying it out as soon as they become avaialble - my buddy had his Pitts canopy blow off at the Nall, still 'serviceable' with some repair work, but he's planning on getting a new one ASAP.

Thanks for the lead. I sent the guy a PM.

I hope horizon will offer the canopy unpainted for us Python owners. It would be much easier to paint an unpainted canopy than to have to repaint over the black.
