Ok Ok, I joined a few weeks ago and this is my very first posting on FG. I have got to say I have never..... EVER seen a group of 'adults' (used very loosely) behave with more immaturity than I have seen over the past few weeks. Roger I just cannot believe that you have been able to remain civil after copping so much crap from so many people. I applaud your patience. Your not a kindergarten teacher are you????

Helifreak has the motto Fun, Learning, Friendship and MUTUAL RESPECT. What's Flying Giants?????? Snipe, Gripe, Batter and Disrespect!!!!! I really don't understand why the mods don't give warnings, suspensions or shut serial Trolls down....... There will always be someone who makes trouble and thats why we have mods to keep it clean and fair. So far I have seen so many posts (not just in Rogers threads) that remind me of my little girls fighting................. Simply can't believe it.

Roger. Hope your Laser is a winner and am looking forward to seeing some pics of it in the air. I am just sitting down to start on a scratch built Katana and seeing someone else's efforts is always good for motivation. I will be giving the BT a go.

I have never met Yuri, but of what I have seen and heard of him, he is a master builder and pilot.

Teamflatout, a video will happen when it happens. In the mean time THIS SITE has some good information and very clear drawings that help explain how the boost tab works.

Teamflatout I don't intend to offend or anger you I just want to keep this thread from getting shutdown, if that happens then we won't get any more info on the laser or the lasers boost tabs. Again I DON'T wan't to offend or anger you and hope you will follow this thread so when a video does come you will be able to see the boost tabs in action. I have started with the shear webbing, using 1/4 inch medium balsa. On the photo, you will see where I stopped since I will do the wing tube socket first. but still waiting for the tube itself to make the socket from.

Thanks for the kind words, I've been talking to Mr.Strickland (just wanted to say thanks to Mr.Strickland for talking to me as he is a wealth of knowledge!) about that, and after all of his "praise" for the plane this winter I am going to get a set plans and build a 40% laser(with boost tabs). My goal is to build it for about $2000.

I am planning to use DL 100 (or similar price range) and with the boost tabs I won't need $1000 of servos.
