One thing I will touch on the building of these airplanes is part of the control I have been using for a long time, which some have reported the likes of killing a fly with a bazooka gun....

Fiber Optic servo extensions which I use exclusively on all my models of 30% and up. Stay tuned....
These I don't mind proving, its my design and development....
I am now designing a new Fiber Optic/power board system to be more compact with 3 built in failsafe electronic switches, and individual regulators for each channels.

OK, got the wing tubes this morning, and will probably start making the sockets tomorrow hopefully

I will take as many pictures of the procedures as possible.

Hi there Laser lovers, I will have the 2 piece epoxy/glass cowls, for the 40% laser, ready very soon. These are 1st class cowls, ready to paint. P.M. me for the details.

A note to you fellows about the flat tail feathers. Please DO NOT attempt to change them from the flat configuration. The flat surfaces are more efficient and effective than an airfoil shape.

Sure, thanks for the inquiry. Had a chat with an aeronautical engineer about this, and he informed me of the difference in the two configurations. I accepted his explanation. "The boundry layer of air molecules is less disturbed as they travel to the trailing edge of the horizonal stabilizer thereby resulting in less throw, relitively than the airfoil shape" Or something very close to that.

Having flown the flat horizontal stabilizer Laser, I can tell you I like it very much. The two 40% I am now building, will retain the flat stabilizer.

I'll get Skunks to explain all that molecular swirly stuff to me at the field one day- so don't stress over my shorted 2 cent.
Ha ha! as if...

actually guys, I'm really really glad to see that the FG moderator - has a full charge now!
Please forgive this last way-lay.

Is there a dihedral version horizontal stabilizer Laser?

As I have already mentioned, I have received the two wing tubes (remember two airplanes).

These are rough cut at 48 inches from aircraft spruce and specialties.

For the time being I have sanded with 320 and the then oil sanded with 600 the part I will be making the sockets on. The rest of the tubes will also be sanded later for proper fitting.

I need to get the proper fiberglass material, and resin and should have at least one made later today.

I need to make 4 of 15 inches long and two of about 9 inches.
