Hi Roger
Question, are you going to make the spar tubes parallel with the spars? Or are you going to center them between the spars. The first option will give you 0 degrees of dihedral on the top of the wing. And may be the cause of rudder coupling with the roll axis. The first option will also give the bottom of the wing effective dihederal. The 2nd option will be no dihedral effect. I have built them both ways and I cannot tell any difference with the coupling problem, if it indeed exists. What do you think?

I think that is the way to go, have done it both ways and prefer the parallel method.

Thank you for the kind words, and you will see that Jack is a great guy to deal with, knows what he is talking about either in airplanes or engines,

Lots of experience.

Well its been fun but I think I will not continue contributing here. I had another thread about boost tabs, and there simply too many people like to disrupt, when people do not understand what you are doing they beleive it can't be good.

I received private messages from people harrassing me , hate messages because of the boost tabs,

I have asked the moderators to step in a few times to no avail. So this is not worth it to me.

I appreciate the real modellers wanting to discuss this as you have but its just not worth the aggravation from the others.

I will repeat this message to my other threads

Roger

Roger, thats sad to hear. Have enjoyed seeing and reading about different things you have done and talked about over time even though I wondered about some of it myself from not understanding but hey, isnt that how things come about from people developing and testing things ? Lost of people years ago didnt believe in the Wright Brothers and laughed and talked about them, look at where things are now. What if all of them would have given up years ago because people didnt understand or believe in what they were doing ?

Hope you stay around.

Roger, just because I dont understand or dont believe in what someone elses ideas are or what they are doing gives me no right to critisize them. There have been many times that because of peoples innovative ideas that discussion can take place and something good come of it from what someone thought that something was totally stupid and not a doable thing at all, people have to be proven wrong sometimes.
