Roger, I got my Cowl from Devin York. I did a prefit onto the Laser this weekend. It makes a big difference to the look. It looks like a Laser now. Its a 2 piece cowl so putting baffles on will be easy.

Yours is looking good. Hope a lot of other people start building one.

Thanks Tony, I will look into the cowl also but for now I am thinking of making my own for the simple reason, that I need something different for the Turbo prop engines we are going to use.

can you shoot a few pictures here so we can all see the cowling.

My flying buddy just purchased the 40% plans and he is really looking forward to this build for his winter project.
He plans on using the DLE 111 engine with the canister mufflers also

Thanks Jack, I know that Roger is going to enjoy his Laser a lot. This plane has been a total joy to fly, and now that it is starting to look like a Laser I will enjoy it even more.

I have been away for a few days but am back. I have been doing some work on the wings but since its two sets, there is redundancy in the making.

I will be starting on the tail feathers with more photos soon, stay tuned..

Roger I believe that cowl would also work with a turbine would it not ? Maybe a slitghtly different screw arrangement to bolt it together maybe.
